How to Prevent Your Mobile Phone From Being Stolen

Most of my friends have experiences of losing their mobile phones. The most unlucky one has ever lost three mobile phones in just one month. As a result, now she dare not buy any latest model of cell phone which is expensive any more. Luckily, I bought my first cell phone Nokia N72 three years ago and now I still keep it. I¡¯d like to share with you some tips about how to prevent our mobile phones from being stolen. As we know, places which are crowed and we would easily relax our vigilance are thieves¡¯ favorites. So the first thing we can do to protect our cell phone is being cautious. For example, when we have dinner with our friends in a crowded restaurant, we should still be alert of the thieves. Do not put your cell phone in your bag and leave your bag on the corner. In brief, being alert no matter where you are is the most efficient way to prevent your mobile phone from being stolen. Besides of being alert, we should also take positive measures to keep our mobile safe, especially in those crowded areas. Firstly, you should not put your mobile phone into an obvious place which can easily be seen by the thieves, such as your coat pocket or your trousers¡¯ back pockets. It is quite easy for thieves to steal your mobile phones from these obvious places when we are swarming into a bus or a theatre. Moreover, do not put your handset accessories outside your bag or your pockets which may expose your mobile to the thieves. Secondly, you could hold your mobile on your hand all the time or you could listen to music through your mobile. In this way, if something happens to your cell phone, you can quickly react to the accident and call the police. Thirdly, when you are using your handset, the hand you hold it had better be closer to the wall in the street. Therefore, you could prevent your mobile phone from being stolen by those thieves who ride motorcycles. Last but not least, you could download a theft-awareness software for your mobile. So if your mobile is stole, it would immediately inform you the new SIM card number that the thief put into your handset. And then you could contact the current owner of your mobile and find it back. All in all, we should be cautious when we are in those crowded areas. At the same time, we should also adopt some positive measures to keep our mobile safe as well.
